Vision

The main focus for every software development project should be the business processes of the customer. In our approach these business processes have the primary focus. The goals we use when developing software systems are the following:

• The software systems have to support the business processes of the customer.
• Different software systems need to be tightly coupled and integrated.
• The structure of the software has to follow our standard architecture whenever possible. This will lead to easily maintainable software and the following advantages:
  • Adapting the software to changing business processes can easily be done.
  • Maintenance cost of software will be predictable and acceptable.

Way of working

We use a standard method in every project. Important features of our method are:

• The method is based on the Component Based Development paradigm.
• Tooling we use include: the Unified Process and the Unified Modeling Language (UML). These are de facto standards in the area of Component Based Development, these market standards form the basis of our standard method.
• General, repeating, functionality is captured in software components for generic use. These software components are reused in several projects.

We do so because we believe it is a good way to keep far from technological and methodological traps.

The focus in our projects stays on the business processes of the customers, as it should be in our vision. Apart from the projects we do for various customers we invest continuously in the development and implementation of our standard method. The standard method is improved with the experiences from projects. Another source of improvement are the developments in the market.
