Modelling of user requirements
The requirements of the organization will be modelled by Compat or Compat partners using the Unified Modelling Laguage (UML).
UML diagrams that are used during this modelling process are:
- Use case diagram
- Sequence diagram
- Class diagram
- State diagram
- Component diagram
Through the use of these different diagrams and the translation of the functionality modelled in these diagrams it is possible to deliver a fully functional prototype.
Modelling tools
CompatPP supports various UML modelling tools. UML models can be made in Rational Rose or Select Component Architect. Other UML modelling tools can be added on request. With this approach you do not need to learn a new modelling tool.
Layered architecture
The generated code is structured according to the common layers archtecture. This way data-, business- and user interface functionality is structured in a very strict way. With this architecture it is easy to replace the interface functionality. Because CompatPP provides you with a fully functional data- and business layer and on to of that a working user interface layer after the modelling and prototype phase only the user interface functionality has to be adapted to the specific requirements of the users for this area.
