Improved map handling

Store maps centrally

Do you have all wafer maps and strip maps available? Are they accurate and do all systems use the same information? Can you easily exchange them with other parties?

Compat has a solution to answer these questions. Compat has MapWareHouse!

MapWareHouse

With MapWareHouse it is possible to store maps from your production environment in one central place. Both wafer maps and strip maps can be stored and various different formats are supported. The system provides functionality to convert between different formats, analyze yield and even exchange maps between production sites. MapWareHouse covers the complete functionality for map handling needed in your factory.

How does MapWareHouse work?

MapWareHouse works with a central database. All maps, with their history, are stored in this database. Maps are stored in the exact format in which they are deliverd to the sytem. The application used for stroring the maps is called MapScan. The MapScan application scans several input directories in a sophisticated way and stores map in the database the moment it finds them.

Whenever you want to view, edit or analyze a map you use the MapEdit application. MapEdit can work with the maps which are stored in the database but also with maps that are stored as a file. With MapEdit you can view the history and perform analysis on every map in the system.

Maps can be exchanged betweeen different sites with the MultiSite application. Exchange of maps can automatically be triggered depending on your logistical flow. Exchange can also be performed manually, it is up to your needs.
